Paying by card adds a credit card processing surcharge — 3.5% + $0.30, our actual cost of accepting the card, added as its own line item so you see the exact dollar amount before you pay. Requesting a quote above has no surcharge (we invoice you directly instead).
The surcharge only applies to credit cards — debit cards can't legally be charged it, and we check before you pay so a debit card is never charged the surcharge in the first place.
